Swiss Theological Society SThG/SSTh

About the society

The Swiss Theological Society was founded in 1965 and aims to be a forum for theologians of all denominations. In a time of rapid changes in Switzerland’s religious landscape, this task is particularly important. Against this background, the society draws upon subjects that are relevant to current theological debates and discussions in universities, churches and society, thus representing theology in public. All theological educational institutions at Swiss universities (Protestant, Roman Catholic, Old Catholic) are represented on the board of the Swiss Theological Society.
